Hi, I’m Elysa!

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember- stories, blogs, social media posts, and of course endless school papers in my never-ending educational pursuits. This writing webpage has been literal years in the making. I created so many different layouts and themes each with their own first postings. I launched this site in February 2025, and I am excited to finally share my writing with you!

As a Pisces, I am constantly living in a world mixed with reality and daydreams. My favorite way to escape is in books! My TBR pile is endless, and my house is full of read and unread books.

The other way I like to escape the everyday is through music. I always have a song in my head that I’m either humming or singing out loud. My love language is mixed CDs (hey, geriatric millennial here) and playlists!

When reading and music aren’t enough of a life escape, I love going on adventures! I am an explorer of my city, state, and any coffee shop or bookstore I come across in my travels. I’ve lived in Detroit, Michigan since 2022 and fall in love with the Motor City AND Great Lake state a little more every day (even in the cold, winter weather). Have you seen our Great Lakes? Gorgeous.

I hope you enjoy the time you spend here! For 2026, I publish a new musing the first Saturday of every month. I am currently working on my first novel.
